Configuration

Since 2006, Hengon has been dedicated to the development of stacked broiler cages, starting with white-feather broilers. With over 15years of continuous focus on poultry cage systems, Hengon remains a leader in the research and promotion of automated stacked cagerearing for white-feather broilers, yellow-feather broilers, roosters, and meat ducks. Today, Hengon sets the industry benchmark for meatpoultry cage systems and is the preferred choice and reference for farming clients.

Broiler Chicken Cages

Broiler chickens, also known as “young meat chickens,” are typically raised for 7–8 weeks until they reach 1.8–2.0 kg. Their meat is tender, the skin is soft, and they are suitable for fast cooking.

Since broilers usually stay in the same cage from chick to market weight, broiler cages are commonly designed in three tiers to allow easy handling and catching.

Modern Broiler Production Features

(1)Fast growth: A broiler weighs around 40g at hatch and reaches nearly 2kg by day 56 — about 50 times its initial weight.

(2)Short production cycle: With 7–8 weeks of raising and 2 weeks of cleaning and disinfection, farms can produce up to 5 batches per year if chicks are supplied on time.

(3)High production efficiency: Broilers are quieter and less active than layers, especially in late fattening stages because of rapid weight gain.

(4)Lower risk of coccidiosis, but issues such as leg problems and breast blisters may occur (3–4%, up to 10–15%), affecting appearance and profitability.

(5)All plates are National-standard hot-dip galvanized (275g/m²) for long service life.
